While we are not a certified organic farm we are proud to say we use no herbicides or pesticides. Our vegetable farm employs a no-till methodology that encourages diverse biological activity in the soil, including our worms! The techniques we use to cultivate our growing beds naturally reduces pests and weeds commonly found in a vegetable farm.
Our Spring 2020 CSA will run for 10 weeks beginning Thursday, January 9th, 2020 so we can ensure you get to enjoy the bountiful variety of produce we can grow here in Phoenix during the peak harvesting season.
Each week's share will include a mix of 7-9 different produce varieties. We want to give you plenty of each type of produce so you can experiment and try new things. Our first box weighed over 9 lbs.!
While the cool season is still around we will have plenty of lettuces, kales, radishes, braising greens, mustard greens, swiss chard, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, brussel sprouts, cilantro, parsley, citrus, sugar snap peas, bok choy, garlic greens, and much, much more!
Our transition into spring will introduce the warm season crops like tomatoes and peppers and cucumbers.
