Description: Worms reduce, reuse, recycle and you can too! This class will teach you everything you need to know about composting with worms directly in your garden. 

What you’ll learn:

• General understanding of worm related operations at the Arizona Worm Farm
• How to use your food scraps to nourish your garden
• The benefits of vermicomposting
• How to set up a composting system in your garden (we will set one together in the class)
• 3 different in garden composting systems
• What to feed and how often
• How to utilize worm castings as a cheap and easy garden amendment to improve your chances for organic garden and landscaping success.

• ~500 worms + bedding material
• 2 composting baskets 
• 1/2 gallon of castings
