If you've been to the farm, you know we love to share what we've learned. We have a handful of core gardening and compost classes as well as specialty classes that we rotate throughout the year. This class is for those that have at least 1 year of gardening experience. In this advanced course, we will dive into growing heirloom varieties, trellising, pruning techniques, pest control/mitigation, companion planting, in ground growing, and ways to improve in areas of past failure.

Growing tomatoes in the desert can be so much fun. Let our experts show you all the tips and tricks for planting, maintaining and harvesting high yields of tomatoes.

Learn how to successfully grow and maintain fruit trees using permaculture principles and soil science. This class will teach you the proper (organic!) way to plant, feed, trim, and harvest your fruit trees.

This is for those who's gardens are STRUGGLING. We will help you revive or remove plants that are distressed from the heat of summer, identify plants that are susceptible to insect damage, rebuild microbes and soil nutrients, plan a watering schedule, and how to prepare for fall growing.

Do you dream of an edible yard but have no idea where to start? This class is for you! In this class we walk you through the steps to take any outdoor area from gravel or grass to a lush edible landscape! We will highlight the importance of mulching, and the basic principles of permaculture!

This class will teach you everything you need to know to start vermi-composting in a 17 gallon bin. In this workshop class you will make and take home your very own worm habitat.

This class will teach you everything you need to know about composting with worms directly in your garden. See for yourself how we set up worm bins in our garden and ask questions as we set one up together.

This is a specialized class offered just twice a year. It includes all the processes of breeding, raising, and harvesting Black Soldier Fly Larvae - from breeding live flies, capturing eggs, and growing them to full size to be used as feed.
Includes: Plans for a DIY bin, instructions for a breeding habitat for live flies, and a coupon good for 2 lbs of BSF larvae.
